These men called KNIGHTS: who are we?
We are a fraternal group of catholic men who take a vow to help and protect our priest and parish in any way necessary.
People have asked, what do Knights do? In short, we raise money to give it away. We raise money through various events such as our annual Turkey Fry, annual Pig Roast and Golf Outings. We host dinners, dances and raffles throughout the year.
We have an annual scholarship for college students and anyone who wishes to advance their education. About $1000 a year is given out for this scholarship.
We help people of our parish when in
need, especially around the holidays. We give to charities such as Helping Hands and Birth Haven.
We are dedicated to spreading and sharing our faith to our youth. Some Knights give their time as sponsored catechists in the Confirmation program and/or Religious Ed. program. The Knights often come to the aid of our parish youth group when needed.
We always welcome new members. Being a Knight of Columbus is fulfilling and the rewards are great.
